In exchange for participation in the activity of yoga, movement, and all other classes organized
by Olympia Yoga Sanctuary, of 1522 4th Ave E., Olympia, Washington, 98506 and/or use of the
property, facilities and services of Olympia Yoga Sanctuary, I agree for myself to the following:
1. AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and
warnings given by Olympia Yoga Sanctuary, or the instructors, representatives of Olympia Yoga
2. ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent
risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal
injury to myself, and further release and discharge Olympia Yoga Sanctuary for injury, loss or
damage arising out of my use of or presence upon the facilities of Olympia Yoga Sanctuary,
whether caused by the fault of myself, representatives of Olympia Yoga Sanctuary, Olympia
Yoga Sanctuary, or other third parties.
3. INDEMNIFICATION. I agree to indemnify and defend Olympia Yoga Sanctuary against all
claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and
other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my use of or presence upon the facilities
of Olympia Yoga Sanctuary.
4. FEES. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of Olympia Yoga Sanctuary caused by
any negligent, reckless, or willful actions by me.
5. APPLICABLE LAW. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the
above shall be resolved under Washington law.
6. NO DURESS. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this
Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I
further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this
Agreement if I so desire. I further agree and acknowledge that Olympia Yoga Sanctuary has
offered to refund any fees I have paid to use its facilities if I choose not to sign this Agreement.
7. ARM'S LENGTH AGREEMENT. This Agreement and each of its terms are the product of an
arm's length negotiation between the Parties. In the event any ambiguity is found to exist in the
interpretation of this Agreement, or any of its provisions, the Parties, and each of them, explicitly
reject the application of any legal or equitable rule of interpretation which would lead to a
construction either "for" or "against" a particular party based upon their status as the drafter of a
specific term, language, or provision giving rise to such ambiguity.

8. ENFORCEABILITY. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement,
whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect
the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or of any other applications
of such provision, as the case may be, and such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be
deemed not to be a part of this Agreement.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or
relating to this Agreement through friendly negotiations amongst the parties. If the matter is not
resolved by negotiation, the parties will resolve the dispute using the below Alternative Dispute
Resolution (ADR) procedure. Any controversies or disputes arising out of or relating to this
Agreement will be submitted to mediation in accordance with any statutory rules of mediation. If
mediation does not successfully resolve the dispute, then the parties may proceed to seek an
alternative form of resolution in accordance with any other rights and remedies afforded to them
by law.

In any physical activity, risk of serious physical injury is possible. Yoga and other activity is no
substitute for medical diagnosis and/or treatment. The student assumes the risk of yoga or
other activity and releases the teacher(s) and The Yoga Sanctuary from any liability claims.
I am participating in
classes or workshops with teachers/instructors at Olympia Yoga Sanctuary. I am aware of the
physical risks involved with exercise and understand it is my personal responsibility to consult
with my doctor regarding my participation. I have no medical conditions that I am aware of
which would prevent me from taking part in classes or workshops, and I assume responsibility
for any risk or injury I may sustain as a result of my participation. I have read the above release
and waiver of liability and understand its contents. I understand that all participation at Olympia
Yoga Sanctuary is voluntary and it is my responsibility to decide what level of participation suits
me. I agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

Effectively manage stress before it leads to emotional imbalance and/or inappropriate behaviors

Thank you for attending to your well being. We look forward to having you join us for gentle movement and deep relaxation!

This class is for you if you experience stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, sensory modulation disorders and autonomic nervous system dysregulation of any kind. 

  • Develop emotional resiliency  - the ability to rise to meet a challenge or threat as well as easily calm once it has passed
  • Improve quality of sleep and energy level to support wellness and enhance daily productivity
  • Decrease hypervigilance and intrusive thoughts by learning to become present through breath and body awareness 
  • Decrease overreaction to sensory input (e.g. visual, crowds, touch, noise, movement)
  • Enhances one's sense of self-worth and personal empowerment

Please have proof of vaccination, wear a mask throughout class and practice six-feet distancing.

Please come five minutes early to orient yourself to the space and complete a liability waiver.

Please bring a mat, a blanket or two and please dress warmly in layers, including socks, long sleeves and pants and a beanie or hoodie.
